What have I learned?
First, the healthcare industry is complex, constantly changing and unpredictable. Recently there has been a great deal of focus on provider burnout, staffing, inclusion and reimbursement challenges.
But the real talk is…women in healthcare have a secret. We have been compartmentalizing and marginalizing our experiences for decades. It’s time to come together, share and reflect.
Our Mission
POM Women’s mission is to enable women in healthcare to achieve peace of mind in a career unique to her and her needs. POM Women aims to help those who want to stay in healthcare to stay in healthcare- while also helping those who are ready to move on to something else-- through education, mentorship, community, networking events, and real talk.
Above all else, POM wants to help women achieve career-related peace of mind in a hectic, pressure-filled, always-changing world.
